How do people do it? I mean, interact with others, maintain friendship and not say something stupid or offensive every time they open their mouths?

I am one small step away from deleting all my social media (such that it is, not like I say anything on it) and removing any potential contact with people. I don't seem to feel the same as others, I don't seem to sympathise or empathise or have any kind of link to anyone. I mean, I know I often do sympathise, but I rarely manage to vocalise or show...

It struck me as I posted a couple of things on fb, made some senseless comments on twitter (including a joke that quite a while later didn't make as much sense as I thought it did lol but that was hypomania I think).  I wonder, though, how much of what we put online of ourselves is for us as an outlet, and how much we are seeking validation from others.

Last night I got to see my all time favourite band again. It's only the second time I've managed to  and I'm surprised I managed this time money wise. Whatever comes now though it was worth it. The one band that I will go to see as many times as I can, most if I have seen once I will use the opportunity to see another I haven't but I will always go to these.

For once I'm going to type and actually try and leave the words up instead of deleting the post after about 5 minutes.

What got me thinking was realizing I wanted/needed to write something, whether to work it through in my head or to just get it out and separate it from myself. I realized though, that yet again I would think it over for a few minutes and then panic and delete it. I wanted to try and figure out why that was so I hope this won't become too disjointed.

People really do seem to be inherently stupid. Not any particular people, ALL people (myself included).  We do things that we know can or will harm ourselves or those around us, we even laugh about the fact that we do them.  We see the results of our actions in front of us and do not give a damn.  We see the eventual consequences in those around us who have done these stupid things for longer, and we pity (a joke of a feeling in itself) them, yet we continue knowing that it will be us there. ...
